I wouldn’t say this rates anywhere near “best dark chocolate”, but I grew up on the original Toblerone and have always enjoyed it. I’m a dark chocolate nut now and I rarely eat white or milk chocolate, so I had to try the dark chocolate version and I really prefer it to the other two types. The honey/almond nougat is what makes it good though, not specifically the dark chocolate.

This is indeed “dark” chocolate and not “bittersweet” as the label on the Toblerone package indicates; so it is rather sweet, but unlike USA produced products still tastes like that apparently elusive substance known as chocolate. The honey almond nougat is unfortunately mostly lost amidst the chocolateness, but it gives the bar a nice crunch when it is hastily chewed, or a slight stickiness when the bar is slowly savored. In short you can make a meal out of–a portion–of this bar. It’s not some vile brown sugary confection, nor is it a gourmet experience; it’s simply a satisfyingly rich chocolate bar.

I’m not one who normally eats any cookies. I have tried plenty of cookies though. I also completely agree with the other reviewer who says these cookies are way better than Oreos. These are so much better there’s really no comparison. I saw these in a store and the box caught my eye. When I saw the ingredient list it looked like something I would like with unusually high quality and healthy ingredients. I thought they were pricey but I thought I’d give them a try. Now they are one of my main foods I ALWAYS keep in stock. I highly recommend these. They are not too sweet but definitely sweet enough. I could easily eat an entire box in one day but usually struggle to keep it down to about half a box a day. Yes they are very addicting!! If you like chocolate I don’t see how you wouldn’t like these. These are really good!

The first time I tried these cookies the dark chocolate flavor bowled me over. If you like dark chocolate, and think Oreos are just too sweet, then these are the cookie for you.

If you love chocolate and fruits, this is the product for you. I have just finished my first bag, and I still can’t get over the taste. The candies are bite-size, and (even though I hate using cliches) you simply can’t get enough of them. The chocolate doesn’t taste bitter, but it’s not too sweet either, and the pomegranate enhances the flavor with a slightly sour touch. After reading many reviews about these truffles, I decided to buy the fourteener and the pack of 7 that is all milk chocolate for a chocolate tasting event. These are best at room temperature for optimum flavor. There are many flavors and fillings, but my favorite is “the purist” which is just chocolate. They do offer a wide variety for many tastes. The company went out of their way to ensure my truffles arrived in the best possible condition due to possible warm weather in September. One final note: these are not bite sized and I made each one last three to four bites and savored each and every one that I tried. You can really taste the quality.
