These are a little fun as long as you know what you are getting into. If you are  kids these are a riot, maybe a better gag gift than anything else. Great for a party. But you have to proceed very carefully should you choose to try eating these. They are not kidding that they faithfully reproduced the idea from the book and movie about jelly beans that had bad flavors along with good. Now they offer a chart you can compare the look of the bean to figure out what flavor a bean is before you bite. Thhey are made by the Jelly Belly company so they are the highest quality jelly beans with some of their typical really good flavors like cherry, etc. They have some no-typical flavors made just for this Harry Potter set called Wild Flavors, and they are pretty gross. But after all, kids love gross stuff so it’s OK. The flavors are different in every box, so buy a few boxes to try them all.

You could recover from some of the bad flavors, such as grass, soap, dirt, spaghetti, sardines and earwax – they are authentic and taste like these items. But the vomit flavor may actually make you naseous, as it did to me. I could not get the taste out of my mouth for 2 days. See I bought mine before they started offering charts to check the flavor. So proceed cautiously, take a tiny test bite if it is hard to tell from the chart to avoid a nasty suprise. Some packages have a nice multicolor cloth bag included.

When I was growing up, penny candy was one of the simple joys of life. Even if you were 5, you didn’t need a lot on money to go into the neighborhood penny candy store by yourself and purchase a bag full of sheer decadence! And although I found candy in general to be completely irresistible, ZOTZ were, by far, my favorite.

Talking about childhood memories and the candy we enjoyed with a friend of mine recently prompted me to go looking for this simple sweet treat on the Internet. Having not seen the candy in over 40 years, I was only really expecting to find a brief history/write-up, if that, on the item since I didn’t think they were being made any more. Imagine my pure elation when I discovered they were still around (and could be ordered on AMAZON!) I couldn’t order them fast enough!

When I finally received my package and popped that first ZOTZ (in decades) into my mouth, it was like being transported back in time. The anticipation and exhilaration of that explosion of fizz and flavor to overtake my mouth when I finally bit into the hard candy shell and released the flavorful fizz inside … pure rapture! I have to say, while the experience on the whole was certainly wonderful, the ‘fizz experience’ was somewhat less than I remembered (as a child, it was all I could do to keep my lips together so the fizz didn’t escape my mouth), but all-in-all, well-worth the price of admission. Would I do it again? Oh yeh! Would I recommend it to others? For sure! (DISCLAIMER: INDIVIDUAL RESULTS MAY VARY).

I love thise candy, my daughter take them to school and everyone asks her to bring more and they fight over it!!!! I enjoy amaizing bubbly taste and surprize in the middle. Shipping was super fast and cheap. I was very pleased and going to order many more!!!!!!

I love these gummy bears. They put me into a sugar coma though, so I try to only eat them every once in a while, but you can’t beat the fruity flavor and gummy consistency. My favorite flavors are the Red and White. Soo full of flavor and yummy. Great deal on Amazon for these, based on what you pay in stores!

I absolutely love these candies. I cannot get enough of them and when I read about someone buying a 5lb bag on Amazon I checked it out and bought 12-5 oz bags. I feel it would be easier to carry with you to the movies, or work with smaller packages. The amount of money you save buying in bulk on amazon as opposed to stores in great and was enought o convince me. No other gummi bear compares in flavor and quality. Every other one seems to scratch my throat or taste too acidic and like cough medicine. Haribo on the other hand is gummy gummi bear goodness and like one other review said they are very versatile as they can be eaten by themselves, on top of ice cream, frozen in home-made ice cream, made in cakes, or part of decorative gingerbread houses you can do many things with this simple, great-tasting candy.

So. GOOD. I eat candy all the time, and this is one of my favorites. It’s infinitely munchable, which is good and bad for self-control. Normal gummies bore me because there’s just not that much excitement going on in your mouth. But the fizzy sour powder provides a serious carbonated kick and I can alternate sucking/chewing for a PARTY IN MY MOUTH. So good I ate way too much at once and was burping the entire day.

I am a big fan of most of the Haribo products. My dad brought them back from Germany for me and I always bought loads when I was over there. So, finding these so close to home has been super (for my taste buds, maybe not so much for my waist I had never tried the FIZZY COLA even tho the regualr HAPPY COLA was my favorite…well, step aside Happy, FIZZY’s definitely are now my #1 faves. Great gummi texture that is perfectly chewy. The sour coating is beyond belief, with just the right amount of sweet, making the sour just this side of not tolerable – which is exactly how I want my sour candies…of course, with the gummi being sweet, the sour is just an initial pucker and the whole blending of flavor is the ultimate in satisfaction.! Haribo Rules when it comes to Gummi candies!!

These bottle shaped candies are clear at the top and dark brown at the bottom. They are rather chewy, you can give them a generous bite unlike your standard gummy bear that is soft when chewed, falling to pieces in your mouth. While not exactly like a Coke, the candy does have that distinctive kick. I guess I just like the sensation of chewing up my cola rather than drinking it.

Product Testing
In the interest of science, I threw several candies at coworkers, doors, walls, old computer cases, monitors, desks and nerdy programming books in attempt to break them. They did not. Gummi colas do exhibit strange bouncing properties when placed on spinning CD-ROM’s. The slightly sticky surface gives them enough traction to fly at an alarming speed. Research was abruptly stopped when I discovered my manager does not approve of food testing without prior FDA approval.

Bought 6/2008, my bag has an expiration date of 5/2009. While this bag will not last that long in my sugar craving hands, I think this is an amazing amount of time for a product made of the following ingredients: Corn syrup, Sugar, Gelatin, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Caramel Syrup, Starch, Artificial and Natural Flavors, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Carnauba Wax, Beeswax Coating

Each bag has about 30 pieces of gummy coke pleasure tipping the scales at 5 ounces or 142 grams. 10 pieces register as follows on the ole nutrition scale: Calories 150, Total Fat 0G, Sodium 0G, Carbohydrate 34G, Protein 3G

This product is Gluten free and Casein free. A diet without these products eliminates the intake of naturally-occurring proteins: gluten(wheat and barley) and casein(in milk). Among others, the Autism Research Institute recommend the diet as a treatment for autism and similar conditions.

These candies rock! I am totally addicted to these. When I open a bag of these they are usually gone with a half hour because I can’t stop. I can’t explain it either. I’m not a big cola drinker, not a big soda drinker at all but I love the taste of these. Maybe that’s why I like these. I get the cola taste anytime without having to drink it. I don’t know. But like I said, I’m addicted and I would recommend these to everyone. Haribo makes some other wonderful candies also. Their pink grapefruit slices are sooooo good! When I was on Lipitor I couldn’t have pink grapefruit but the grapefruit slices satisfied my craving for it! So by all means, pick some of their candy up! They rock!

This is Haribo Gummi candy–the original. I love all of their products, but this one is especially good. I have ordered it twice and will again. If you a gummi bear fan, you will really love this!

Originally I bought these candies for my children. That was until I got my hands on them. These gummi candies are the next best thing to chocolate and without all the fat! We love all the Haribo products but the cherries are my personal favorite. However, I enjoy the other products as well. One of the reasons I like these gummies as much as I do is the consistency. They have that chewy texture and they’re not too soft. Yummy!

I discovered these several years ago at Aldi, which was having their annual German food celebration in anticipation of Oktoberfest. Unfortunately I never have been able to find them since, so I’m glad to see Amazon offering them. I’m a bona fide Haribo junkie, and these are by far my favorite of all the great things they make. Once I break open a bag, I can’t stop eating them.

I have been looking for Pico-Balla since I can no longer get it at World Market or the local gaming store. I am glad it’s available through Amazon.

This candy is chewy as in chewy yet chewable, unlike a typical gummi candy. While I consider Pico-Balla my favorite Haribo gummi candy(and one of my favorite candies ever), I don’t consider it a gummi candy at all. I’ve always considered it more of a filled licorice. So if you are a fan of fruity licorice, like Twizzlers Strawberry Twists, give them a try!

I find myself easily eating the whole bag in one sitting. They are so good one at a time or in handfuls. I wish I had two bags right now!

I don’t think of them as fruit roll-ups at all because Pico-Ballas certainly don’t stick to my teeth at all like those do, nor is the taste similar.
