You can’t go wrong with this coffee…it’s fresh, smooth and just the right brew for the Kcup coffee pots. The Amazon Price with the Subscribe and Save makes it unbeatable…believe me, I have checked around for months and this is still the best deal. Thanks Timothys your product is fantastic and thank you Amazon for making it possible to indulge in the one cup brewing system…I no longer feel guilty for treating myself one cup at a time!
A light roast coffee that is not whimpy! Goes down just like ” the coffee shop coffee”. You can enjoy it morning, noon, or night! Alot cheaper than the coffe shop, and you can enjoy it whenever you crave a nice cup of coffee and don’t want the acidic and burnt taste of the BOLD ones!!
Original Donut Blend:
If you are a fan of light roast coffee this is a great blend!
Taste:
It has a delightful light roasted flavor that finishes with a mild bold taste. The coffee is very smooth from begging to end; even more so than the half-cafe and Kona blends.
Suggestions:
I suggest you use a 10oz serving size for this coffee otherwise it may lose flavor.
This blend tends to be better for people with sensitive digestive systems but still wont caffeinated coffee.
Comparing:
For comparison the doughnut shop coffee has a much bolder taste and a cinemin flavor. The doughnut shop coffee does not finish as smoothly.
Green Mouton half cafe tend to be sweeter while the Original Donut Blend has more of a bold flavor.
Tallys Kona blend is actually not a smoothing tasting as the Original Donut Blend.
Other Thoughts:
I am not normally a fan of Timothy’s coffees but they really did a great job with the Original Donut Blend. There is absolutely no bitter taste and gives you the roasted/smooth sensation you expect from a quality blend.
