Apparently Professor David Edwards at Harvard University has developed a coffee inhaler he calls “Le Wif”. It’s biodegradable, organic and you stuff it up your nose and sniff to give you 100mg of caffeine smelling like espresso.

I’m going to coat-tail on what “Very Evolved” said… The way you connect to your audience is… Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.

I’m a very impatient new coffee convert. One of my (many) major short comings right now is my inability to distinguish finer nuances of coffee taste. To me the coffee tastewheel is just a mystery. When my baristi friends talk about pineapples, blueberry and whatnot I sit baffled, desperately sniffing and the best I can come up with is usually “I sense a really strong smell of… coffee?”, or “interesting” – to my credit I have to say that the other day I managed to distinguish the grapefruit bitterness of a Kenya. YES! At least I think so…
